What book are you reading? Do you like it? Why?

                                  
  • Describe one of the characters using adjectives
  • How could the story have ended differently?
  • Pick out 3 words that you found interesting in the book. Do you know what they all mean?

Imagine the story doesn’t end there! What else could happen? Write another chapter to add to the story.

Cut a 2D shape out.

Now draw a line of symmetry on it.

Science

When you next go out for a walk see if you can spot any animals. There may be birds, minibeasts or other types of animals.

What habitat do they live in? Why do they need this habitat? Write about your findings.

Design and Technology

Create a minibeast hotel that could go outside. Use the D/T skills you have learnt to attach different parts.

Art and Design

Can you find out if there are any artists living in Portsmouth? What sort of art do they do? Can you find some pictures of their work?
Maybe you could create your own piece in the style of their work
