Summer Term 2025 |
DucklingsWe had 3 ducklings and we watched them hatch all wet and soggy, dry out to become fluffy yellow ducklings which were able to swim very easily in a very short time. It was so much fun to watch them swim in our little indoor pools! |

Creative Arts WeekThe children enjoyed a week of drama, dance, music and art based on the topic of ‘Around the world’ We had a great time African and Indian drumming with Jim, Brazilian and Egyptian dancing with Zest Dance and finally making a World Collage from paper and threads which is up on our classroom wall. |
Animals Pets, Vets and DinosaursThe children have also been learning about pets, their features and how important it is to care for them. Miss Paice brought her dog Pebbles in which we loved stroking and brushing.

WaterWe had lots of fun learning about Water, the sea, different creatures and learning about capacity by getting very wet in our water tray! We also found out about Claude Monet's "Water Lilies" and enjoyed mixing blue, green and white paint. |
Sports Afternoon
It was good to see so many parents and family members a joining us for our Sports Afternoon.
Everyone had fun cycling, scooting, climbing, jumping and playing football
MinibeastsOwls waited patiently for our caterpillars to become cocoons and then turn into butterflies. We released them into the garden eventually! During this time we loved learning the story “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle. We counted and tasted lots of fruit. |
Pamper DayTowards the end of end of term we had a “Pamper day. We cleaned and filed our nails, applied nail varnish and fun tattoos, cleaned our teeth and relaxed with refreshing cucumber on our eyes. |
